Worth the Counter Space
I hadn't replaced my old blender and food processor after they broke down, mostly because I don't have a lot of counter space. I used to buy a lot of kitchen appliances, but after moving several times and going from a lot of counter space to about 8 linear feet, I've become very particular about having too many gadgets. I learned a long time ago, if I have to put it under the counter, I'm probably never going to use it. So why spend the money?

But earlier this year I had a series of dental procedures and decided I needed a blender because macaroni and cheese and hot dogs only taste good for so long. I picked up The Smoothies Bible and decided I did need a blender and would try making smoothies to get some decent nutrition and give my poor teeth a break. I'd never had a smoothie before either. Boy, was I missing out!

I like to use cold fruit, skim milk, and pieces of frozen banana for my smoothies. I get a nice, thick, healthy meal replacement, that's homemade and quick. It takes less time to blend the smoothies than it does to assemble the ingredients. My mouth is all healed now, but I make a smoothie just about every day.

This blender is nice and powerful, but not too heavy and has a pretty small footprint. If you're getting married or starting a family, put this on your wedding registry. You'll be glad to have it. Highly recommend.

Didn't even power on!
I bought this for my wife because she loves to make smoothies. We got it out put all the ingredients in and NOTHING! It would even turn on!!
